Ford 1980 Louisville LN 9000
9 Speed Roadranger gearbox on Hendrickson walking beam suspension
Cummins Turbo 903 with Jake Brakes which had an in chassis rebuild roughly 8 years ago. This motor runs like a dream.
The fridge/freezer body was installed new in 2007. It has a Thermoking RD II SR unit which can operate on the Diesel motor or plug it in to operate on 3 phase power. We have only used pallet jacks in the body which has fiberglass floor in it.
This Louie was mainly used for local produce pickup's with the occasional run into the Rocklea Markets.
It was painted at the time the body was installed but the clear varnish has flaked off.
It's a great honest older truck which would still offer years of service.
Sad to see it go, but we have no further used for it due to the closure of our business.
